Akros Strategy was founded by Markus Robinson, a United States Air Force veteran, University of Colorado alumnus, and procurement professional who spent years on the reviewing side of public solicitations — reading, assessing, and understanding what separates a proposal that scores well from one that gets overlooked. He brings over a decade of experience in federal, state, and local county government agencies, working in platforms such as SAM.gov and OpenGov, and has managed over $850 million in government contracts.
What sets Akros apart is a view of the entire solicitation lifecycle — from advertisement and solicitation through Q&A, evaluation, negotiations, award, and contract execution. Most reviewers have seen only one stage. Because we have worked across all of them, we understand not just how a proposal scores, but how it holds up in negotiations and whether its commitments can actually be delivered after award.
That experience revealed a recurring pattern: capable companies with genuine strengths regularly lose points not because of what they offer, but because of how their proposals are organized, worded, and aligned to the evaluation criteria. We exist to close that gap.
We don't write your proposal, and we never guarantee an award. We help you present a stronger, more organized, more evaluable submission — using only publicly available procurement best practices.
Every engagement is built on integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. The work is entirely advisory, entirely ethical, and focused on one outcome: helping your best work be seen and understood.
From the day a solicitation is advertised to the day the contract is executed, we've been on the government side of each step. That end-to-end view is what makes our reviews different.
