Effective August 12, 2026. This statement sets out how Akros Partners LLC, doing business as Akros Strategy, approaches the accessibility of akrosstrategy.com, what we have done, what we know is not yet right, and how to reach us if something on this site does not work for you.

1. Our commitment

We intend this site to be usable by everyone competing for government work, including people who navigate by keyboard, use a screen reader, magnify the page, rely on captions, or need reduced motion. Accessibility is treated as part of building the site, not as a later addition.

2. Conformance status

We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This site is partially conformant: most of the standard is met, and the exceptions we are aware of are listed in section 4.

3. Measures we have taken

• Pages are built with headings in a logical order, descriptive page titles, and landmarks that let assistive technology move through the page.
• A skip link at the top of every page moves focus past the navigation to the main content.
• Navigation, menus, expandable sections, the pricing calculator, and all forms are operable by keyboard alone.
• Focus is visibly indicated wherever it lands.
• Expandable panels report their state to assistive technology.
• Every form field has a visible, associated label. Placeholder text is used as an example, never as the only label.
• Images and icons carry alternative text where they convey meaning, and are hidden from assistive technology where they are decorative.
• Text colors are checked against the AA contrast thresholds for their size and weight.
• Pages render in a single color scheme so that contrast stays predictable across browsers and devices.
• Animation is disabled automatically when the operating system requests reduced motion, and the scrolling experience band can be paused by anyone.
• Layouts reflow to narrow screens and to enlarged text without loss of content.

4. Known limitations

We list these rather than omit them.

• Sample report PDF. The sample readiness report offered for download is not fully tagged for screen readers. An accessible version is available on request under section 6.
• Solicitation listings. Titles, reference numbers, and dates on the Open Solicitations board are republished as the issuing agency wrote them, including abbreviations and formatting we do not control.
• Complex tables. Rate tables and scoring tables carry a great deal of information in a small space and may be demanding to navigate by screen reader. The same figures are available in plain prose on request.
• Testing coverage. We test on current versions of major browsers and screen readers. Older or less common combinations are not routinely tested.

5. Third-party services

Some parts of the engagement run on services we do not build or control:

• Payment and checkout pages are hosted by Stripe.
• Consultation scheduling is hosted by Calendly.
• Form processing and site hosting are provided by Netlify.
• Federal opportunity data originates with SAM.gov, and county opportunity data with the counties’ own procurement portals.

We select providers that publish accessibility documentation, but we cannot guarantee the accessibility of pages we do not author. If one of these steps is a barrier for you, contact us and we will complete it with you another way, including taking payment by invoice and arranging a consultation by email.

6. Alternative formats

Anything published on this site is available in an alternative format on request, at no charge and with no requirement to explain why. That includes pricing and rate tables, the sample report, solicitation details, our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and any page you cannot read as published.

7. Reporting a barrier

If any part of this site prevents you from doing what you came to do, tell us through the contact form. It helps if you include the address of the page, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using — but a description in your own words is enough.

We acknowledge reports within five business days. Where a fix is straightforward we make it and tell you when it is live. Where it is not, we tell you what we intend to do, when, and how to get the same information in the meantime.

8. How this site is assessed

Accessibility is evaluated by self-assessment. That combines automated testing with manual checks: navigating each page by keyboard alone, confirming focus order and visible focus, checking headings and labels, verifying contrast values against the AA thresholds, and reviewing pages with motion disabled. Self-assessment is not an audit, and section 2 states that plainly.

9. Documents we deliver to clients

Our readiness assessments are issued as formatted documents. If you need a report delivered in a specific accessible format — a tagged PDF, a plain-text or structured Word version, or larger type — tell us when you engage us and it will be produced that way at no additional cost. This does not change the scope, the price, or the turnaround of the review.

10. Changes to this statement

This statement is reviewed when the site changes materially and at least annually. Revisions are posted on this page with a new effective date. See also our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
